After I got married I pretty much stayed away from parties, etc-----& I don't club. Other interests that don't involve being put in that situation helps.

wow sober 20 years, thats great. I just quit drinking 6 months ago and I constantly feel pressured to drink. Weddings, bachelor parties, anytime i go out to a club, how did you handle situations like this?

If you are forced to break policy, make sure everything is documented. Make sure you have a supervisor telling you to break policy (unless you have the cajones to handle the backlash) and write it down.

I worked several areas where my boss gave me the "authority" to do what needed to be done. I always knew he would back me ------as long as I made the right decisions..........and knew he would throw me under the bus if I made a wrong one. If it was close, he would have and did a couple times back me (then told me a better way of doing it NEXT time)

Mr. Iowa , i have seen you around a little , ( my mind is now working with the hel[p of some very thick joe ) but as a control for a max unit i got left with 2 other officers , and me in control room to handle 3 quads and a long **** list , I am having to break policy all to hell to get it done , but it is getting done , I only have a year and a half at max in correction ( my very short carreer time ) but i got told to get it done come hell or high water , what do you think ?

It wont even let me send you messages because you have no mail box room left..

I am a shift supervisor and have to sign for the key to get in the room.
