LOL Tell me about it being the only Buckeye fan. We actually have a guy down here from Cleveland, so there are two of us. I was born and raised in Southeastern Ohio near Cambridge. That last I heard about Holencik was that his trial was to proceed in January. That's the last I've heard about that whole fiasco...

Hey, I think your the first buckeye fan in Texas, I got a buddy that just started over there a few months back. Did you guys close out your hiring until this whole freeze is over with or are you guys still interviewing? I got another friend just getting out of my old Unit looking for a job?

Are you currently @ Beaumont, I got a 90 GS5 and a 96 GS6 rating plus 5 points veterans preference. I applied for Dublin, Beaumont, n Sheridan. Would you have any advice as far as hiring goes?

I retired out of FCI Big Spring, back in 2000. Still hacking as DHO for Cornell Corrections, a great job!

I recently read your comments on Beaumont's transition. Do a little research on Lappin's congressional testimonies and I think you'll find the real reason why the BOP has decided to transition you guys. He told congress there seems to be a resistance to training and an overall problem with the staff there. (idiotic)
He told congress the plan was to lower you guys to "give them a break", retrain them and slowly bring them back up to High security. Lappin is out of touch with line staff, out of touch with increasing violence, out of touch with what purpose a gun tower serves. The problem is the BOP's upper management. Urge your politicians to get involved, it seems to be the only thing Lappin understands.
