    Re: Overtime in the BOP

I know this is an old thread but I haven't been on in awhile. Anyways, we get a pretty decent amount here and even have mandates from time to time. We get a bunch around hunting season, holidays and the summer when the vacation roster is full and people are banging in like crazy.

Not counting the overtimes we sign up for, mandos only; Day Watch gets hit about once a month, Evening Watch is about every three weeks and Morning Watch...lol...they get it about once a week.

    Re: Overtime in the BOP

We get alot of BPT certified Overtime, and a decent ammount of regular overtime. I have been drafted 2 in the last 4 months

It is dried up at Beaumont. Occasionally you'll get one go out to the hospital. Hopefully when they reinstate all the USP posts we will get a little bit.

    Re: Overtime in the BOP

We have had a decent amount of overtime offered the last several months. But I'm guessing that it will dry up a little due to us hiring 8 new officers 2 weeks ago.

    Re: Overtime in the BOP

Well our anal retentive captain will pull non-pull posts to cover posts in which they should have hired OT for. All Lt's are required to notifiy him prior to hiring OT for "his" approval. It's only a matter of time until he gets drilled.

    Re: Overtime in the BOP

So does no OT mean you physically work the extra hours and get nothing for it or the schedule is adjusted where you don't work any more hours? I've wondered how that works with the states that do 12 hour shifts. Over the course of a month thats 96 hours and usually overtime or comptime starts after 40.
