    Federal Bureau Of Prisons Activiely Hiring

    I was just on the BOP website and saw where they are "Actively" hiring right now for those of you interested.

    FCI Dublin, CA.

    FCC Coleman, FL.

    to bad they have an age limt. im 40 and and been in corrections 6 years now but not with the fed retirement. had my app. in the b.o.p for 5 years and they never called. now im to old. oh well

    Maybe you should try California for the State. They pay quite well.

    Is the age limit for the feds different if you have military time? I have about 8 years military service. I was wondering if that bumps up the age limit by the same amount.

    No, it will not count with the exception of adding 1% per year to your retirement annuity for each year of military service that you "buy back."

    I thought there was a waiver for over 37 with military. I would check into it

    No age waivers unless your a doctor, chaplain or psychologist.

    There are Law Enforcement time waivers.

    Or I'm smoking crack, I could have sworn that some of the agencies would wave the age limit for certain reasons.
