    USP Atwater, CA

    Hello everyone!

Recently separated from the service a while ago, and I have an 8 hour interview for USP, Atwater. My question is: What should I expect? I've never heard of a core value assessment test.. I think I understand the video/writing part and the panel interview, seems like common sense.

Oh and are there any threasholds that you can't pass for a credit check? If anyone has been down this path and can offer some guidance , It would be greatly appreciated

    Thank you,

    lma

To back up model65, yes, you can be in debt up to your neck but as long as you are paying everything, and your not in default or collections then you will be fine. If you are screwing some of your creditors by not paying them, then you will either need to pay it off or make payment arrangements, both of which you have to show proof of and will be verified by the BOP. After all, not paying back "just" debts is not ethical, hence conflicting with core values. As far as core values goes? INTEGRITY! Always do the right thing (even when nobody is looking)

probably won't take 8 hours. The CVA is easy. The answers are obvious.... As far as credit, the most important thing is that you're paying your debts. HR ran mine and found out that I had $50 in collections that I didn't know about. I paid it, got a letter of satisfaction, and gave it to HR. No problems.

Will a illness related termination (2014) hinder me?

Also, I ran a credit check , and I contacted a debt collector and setup a monthly payment plan, other than that, I hope everything goes well.

Mine took 8+ hours. I recently got a conditional letter of hire from USP Atwater. Included my CVA, interview, writing sample, medical, drug test and finger prints.

    Re: USP Atwater, CA

I'm. Confused. Must I have no terminations for 3 years from the date I applied? On the packet it says (within the last 5 years). Also, does anyone know if my termination will hinder me? I have applied with cdcr and had to appeal to the state board and my appeal was granted.

    Thanks

It depends why you were terminated. Just tell the truth, and you should be fine.

Also, I did the whole thing in less then 4 hours: CVA, interview, another interview via video conference, written test (report writing), physical (a joke), urinalysis.
