    Snicker.......................Snicker............. .................Snicker
I am sure you are familiar with that Big Building on the hill on the East Side of Des Moines.........the one with the big gold dome..

Go one block north of that big building on the north side of Grand Ave
    512 E 12 th St Des Moines.

There is no housing. There is no structure. The "academy" is pure lecture 8 hrs a day for 3 GRUELING WEEKS. There is absolutely NO hands on training what so ever. You will get that all at your institution (if they decide to give you DT training , weapons training, etc)

When we send people to the Iowa DOC LEARNING CENTER
(Don't call it an academy-----it's the LEARNING CENTER) we have to put them up at either Camp Dodge (in barracks) or a motel.

From where you live--------------------you could go home for dinner.

I am snickering because people think the DOC has an academy.
My new word for the day is FOCUS, when someone irritates you tell them to FOCUS

    (F*** Off Cuz Ur Stupid)

"There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots."
    ^^^ stolen from a Facebook quote^^^

I don't know it all, I know a little about a lot and a lot about a little. Forgive me if I fail to remain completely objective.
All opinions are mine----only mine---and do not carry the weight of my department.

Never argue with idiots- They just drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
