Stupis Stuff I Seee
So, I'm back after my week long hiatus, read ART, that's Annual Refresher Training for non-BOP personel. Talk about a waste of my time. I know there are, or were, some good points that used to be brought up in ART. That doesn't seem to be the case now. The first day, right outta the gate, we have Psychology teaching their BS. For 4 stinking straight hours. I was looking for a tall tree and a short rope. GEEZ! Is this crap analyzed for boredom? They are passing. I can't ...
So, there are a few things to know when it's count if you are an inmate. Count is usually announced verbally, you can hear keys jangling, and I'm sure there are other things that just aren't coming to mind. In other words, it would be hard to be surprised. I, for one, have seen my share of strange goings on in a cell. Now, that we have this lower security level, we still have strange goings on, just not BAD strange. We have one guy during 4 pm count, every single day, ...
Here is my take on 'dirty' staff. This is just my opinion take from it what you want. It just seems to me that there are a few things that bad leadership brings about. So, last Friday, we had an altercation between two Hispanic factions. It was four guys, 2 from one group 2 from another. Actually, it was 4 drunk Mexicans. But, here it is Sunday and we are still locked down with plans on remaining this way. Don't get me wrong, it's a good break in the action. But, this is not the first fight we've all seen. In fact, I didn't respond, according to guys who witnessed the aftermath, it was not much of a fight. One participant was in a wheel chair for ...
So, I'm working S & A in Control today. The usual BS going plus we have UA's. Our compound guy is actually a corridor officer. See, we are inside. We have a south corridor that all have to travel thru to get anywhere. Plus we have 'grilles' or gates in this corridor, so traveling how fast is not up you. Now, to do these UA's (piss tests) we usually take the inmates to our visiting room strip out area. This one inmate that comes up for a UA, has a problem. He must ...
