So, I'm back after my week long hiatus, read ART, that's Annual Refresher Training for non-BOP personel. Talk about a waste of my time. I know there are, or were, some good points that used to be brought up in ART. That doesn't seem to be the case now.

The first day, right outta the gate, we have Psychology teaching their BS. For 4 stinking straight hours. I was looking for a tall tree and a short rope. GEEZ! Is this crap analyzed for boredom? They are passing.

I can't tell you when the last time we had a Food Service class. Not that it was all that important but it seems we have lost a bunch of classes we had when I first started. But, hey we have other stuff filling in those slots.

I gotta hand to the instructors who 'know' their class sucks and they compensate by throwing in some good teaching qualitites. Humor is good.

Side note* Had one guy unwind a coathanger and mess with my ponytail. The hanger was immediately grabbed and thrown to the front of the class during EEO. Well, I should be treated equally also, even if I do have long hair. The follically challenged hate me.
