It's hard to lose a friend. It's even harder to know what to say to someone that has lost one without sounding trite; especially when you didn't know your friend's friend. All I know for sure is that some questions won't be answered; and if they are, the answers may not be understandable to anyone other than the person that chose to end their life because of them. And the reason we grieve is because we won't have their company any longer; regardless if we believe they have gone to a better place or not.

You are correct when you mention my attitude here on PO.org in reference to the F.N.G.'s. But, it's like I got F.N.G. crap going on everywhere in my daily life and the bad thing is, these people are way beyond F.N.G. status. Hopefully, time will change them and me. The good thing I guess is I ain't working the same place as them. The joint gives me a break from society and society gives me a break from the joint.

I have noticed the attitude you referred to in your blog. I can't help but think it's the new crop of FNGs showing their collective arses - and worse, they do not seem to know they are doing it. Let them gets several years and experiences under their duty belt, and they'll have a change of heart/head. Or they will no longer be in the corrections field. I know that does not help right now, and next year there will be another group to be irritated by. Just hang tough and keep the faith, my friend!

My curmudgeon(ess) attitude is all over the board. I just decided to start here.

I called Gools a Points Whore...lol......and just for the record....he just passed me up. He currently has 7154 vs. my 7115. How did that happen? According to vBulletin stats, it is due to number of post.....most of my points are from starting threads.

Gools....lol....brother, you are being a curmudgeon, but after 25 yrs in this business, I guess you are entitled to that.

Whew! My wife's six years older than me. We just barely made it under the wire or she'd be a cougar, too.
