  1. Count Sightings

    by , 01-28-2012 at 11:07 AM
So, there are a few things to know when it's count if you are an inmate. Count is usually announced verbally, you can hear keys jangling, and I'm sure there are other things that just aren't coming to mind. In other words, it would be hard to be surprised.

I, for one, have seen my share of strange goings on in a cell. Now, that we have this lower security level, we still have strange goings on, just not BAD strange.

We have one guy during 4 pm count, every single day, ...

  2. My View

    by , 01-19-2012 at 01:41 PM
By a few of my latest posts, and the retorts of others, I just feel the need to explain myself.

Those of you who know me, know I have recently gone through a pretty traumatic event in my life. What the people who know me only online will fail to know is exactly how this event effected me in the long run. I thought I would write this blog post to help show you what exactly has changed in my life since the event, and how I differ as a person now that I have been through it.

Every year, until this one, I spent most of the Christmas season and the following winter suffering from ...

  5. What is a blog, anyway?

    by , 01-12-2012 at 09:05 AM
OK, I'll admit it - as much as I like technology and spend my days working with sophisticated software, I am not exactly sure about what a blog is. Wikipedia defines it as, "A blog (a blend of the term web log)[1] is a personal journal published on the World Wide Web consisting of discrete entries ("posts") typically displayed in reverse chronological order so the most recent post appears first. Blogs are usually the work of a single individual, occasionally of a small group, and ...
